Several NASGW members have signed on for the fundraising effort including:
• Gunarama Wholesale Inc. (Spokane, Wash.)
These NASGW members join a number of manufacturing companies that have already stepped up to support NRA Life of Duty.
NRA Life of Duty Program
We’d like to invite you once again to join with me in supporting a very special cause. The National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers (NASGW), your association, has signed on to the National Rifle Association’s (NRA) Life of Duty program that serves and supports individuals who work to protect and defend the safety of the American people.
Members are requested to provide $2.00 for each firearm sold in the month of December in order to purchase a special NRA membership category for US military personnel OR make a contribution to this very worthy cause. This new NRA program helps tell the stories of American heroes via its website (www.nralifeofduty.tv) and provides the opportunity for members to sponsor a one-year NRA membership for a uniformed American Patriot.
This is an opportunity for our members to participate in a fantastic program that will benefit our active military. When our Board of Directors first heard about the program at the NRA Convention, we decided then and there that we should participate.
For our part, we will recognize your participation in press releases, on our website and in the InSight newsletter. See benefits flyer.
Use the enclosed Contribution / Commitment Form to let us know if you will join us so we can get the word out to all of our industry partners about your participation in this effort. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me or our President, Maurice (Moe) Desmarais.
Jack Baumler, Chairman of the Board
