The NASGW Leadership Awards Reception and Dinner on October 27 from 6:15 – 9:30 p.m. is an informal and entertaining event that begins NASGW’s Expo & 42nd Annual Meeting. The Awards portion of the program recognizes contributions made by manufacturers to the successful business climate of NASGW’s wholesaler members.
I’m a strong believer that “one more gun” just isn’t enough. It’s a philosophy I know many of you share. I happen to know a pretty serious collector, not unlike some of the people reading this column I’m guessing. He has a room in his home devoted entirely to his hobby, with, well… hundreds of guns. Frankly, I’m not sure he even knows how many there are.
Based on exhibitor numbers and advanced registration, it would seem we are well on our way to yet another packed house for the NASGW’s 42nd Annual Meeting and Expo. With dozens of new members, exhibitors, media, etc. anticipated to join us in New Orleans there will be plenty of opportunity to meet with new and exhibiting buyers and sellers.
For me, preparing for the NASGW Expo marks the beginning of Fall and the return of hunting season. Of course, this coincides with the return of our “busy” season. Therefore, some of you may be tempted to stay home and be sure all is going well. While I certainly understand that notion, taking just a few days away to visit the Expo will absolutely return on your investment of both time and money.
